Sizing guide
First identify the area you intend to cool and focus the fan over the spaces people spend most of their time. Two smaller fans are often better than one large one, use the measurements below as guidance.
Length × width, e.g. 3.7 m × 3 m = 11.1 m². Once you know the area, pick the diameter from the table below.
At least 2.1 m clearance between the floor and the blade tips. Ideal 2.4 – 2.7 m; above that, add a down-rod.
At least 30 cm between the blades and any wall or object. Between two fans, keep ≥ 99 cm blade-tip to blade-tip.
